B = Big Bad Breakfast
C = Catalina Restaurant
D = Debris
E = El Milagro y Taqueria y Pupuseria
F = Front Yard Tacos
G = Grace on Dauphin
H = Hammered Cow
I = Iron Hand Brewing

We need your help!

Where should we go?!?

We're looking forward to eating our way through Mobile Bay!

New recycling center on DIP

From the City of Mobile:
As part of a grant from the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM), we recently selected a property on DIP to house our third recycling drop-off center! The new location will be 1750 Dauphin Island Parkway, next to the Waffle House.

Construction is already underway, and our goal is to have the new site up and running by the end of the year. The Peninsula of Mobile, which has partnered with the City of Mobile on several environmental projects in the area, also plans to build a Visitor Information Center on the same site after our facility is up and running.

Last year, the City of Mobile collected 911 tons of recyclable material from our existing drop-off centers on Museum Drive and Pinehill Drive. That's a lot, but it is a tiny percentage of the total trash generated by our community. Adding this new drop-off center in the DIP area is one of several ways we hope to improve the recycling rate in our community. You can learn more about our existing resources here.

🐶This Baby Needs A Mommy….😺

Zola, Wags and Whiskers

From the Wags and Whiskers:
“Meet Zola! This sweet girl is being surrendered because her family can not give her what she needs. She appears to be a Snorkie! She’s around 3 years old and 12 lbs. She’s a sweet and calm girl. She’s great indoors. She does well with all people and other pups. Zola will complete her vetting on 11/1/23 and will then be adoption-ready.
Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, etc. can lead to accidents even with the most well-trained animals.
All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes a vet check, age-appropriate shots (at least 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if at least 16 weeks), and spay/neuter! If you would like to meet Celly, please complete the application here.”
