🌞 News (no shootings allowed here)

Rivalry Revived: McGill-Toolen students found a solution when the City nixed their cannon-painting tradition, buying their own! Is Murphy invited to the paint party should they take the win? Looks like the ‘can’t paint the city cannon’ didn’t matter!

Plumbing Pandemonium: A grease blockage wreaked havoc on Spring Hill Avenue, leading to a messy wastewater overflow in Mobile County. The aftermath left quite a foul situation for locals.

Wingman’s Brews: Fairhope Brewing Company is expanding its presence in Downtown Mobile in early 2024. Their experimental pop-up tasting room will focus on unique seltzers and flavored sour ales.

Java Joy: YellowHammer Coffee in Downtown Mobile is introducing coffee delivery, bringing your fave brews right to your doorstep. This should make your day a little more convenient, with caffeine boosts any time you want them!

(if you're new to Mobile, don't be alarmed, this just means that McGill Toolen beat Murphy High School in their football game, also known as the "Battle of the Cannon").

🐶These Babies Need a Mommy (or a Daddy) 😺

From Wags and Whiskers:
Meet Elcie! This sweet girl came to us a few days ago because sadly her owner has a terminal illness and can no longer care for her. Elcie is settling into foster care nicely. She’s timid as to be expected, but really is lover and is opening up very quickly. We are told she is a Maltese/Poodle. She is said to be 4-5 years old but we are thinking more like 5-7 years old and weighs 7lbs. We hope to get her a clean-up cut soon and better pics. She does have some hair loss from flea dermatitis which is being treated. She will complete her vetting 9/27/23. Elcie will be ready for adoption soon! Click here to fill out an adoption application.”
