Get your tickets before they sell out!! The 6th annual King Cake-Off will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024, at the Mobile Civic Center Expo Hall, located in the heart of downtown Mobile. Local bakeries, eateries, and grocery stores will compete to see who has the tastiest King Cake and King Cake-Inspired Treat on the Gulf Coast. This family-friendly event will feature live music, local vendors, kids' activities, King Cake tastings, and more! You don't want to miss out on this tasty, one-of-a-kind event!

This event, presented by PNC Bank, benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Gulf Coast, and all contributions will go directly to support their mission—to give our children a caring and supportive adult mentor who will guide them to success, hold them accountable, and set their lives in a direction they never thought possible.

🐶This Baby Needs a Mommy….😺

“Meet Rio! This sweet boy was surrendered due to his owner not being able to provide the attention he needs and wanting better for this friendly, energetic pup. Rio is a heeler mix. He is approximately 1 year old and weighs 45lbs.

Rio has grown up in a home and been socialized with people and other animals. He loves his daily walks, occasional doggy daycare visits, and he'll play fetch for hours. He is kennel trained but is having to spend too much time in the kennel due to the busy lifestyle of the family. Rio would do best with an active family who has time to give him the attention he needs. A bonus would be another dog buddy and/or older children. He hasn't been tested with cats. He is utd, altered and ready for his forever home!

Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, etc. can lead to accidents even with the most well-trained animals.”
