Senior Bowl is here + First Weekend of Mardi Gras
News around Mobile Bay
Howdy,
First, let’s welcome the 189 readers who have joined the crew over the last 30 days 😄
Today's Estimated Read Time: 2 minutes 55 seconds.
This week’s email is brought to you by the Reese’s Senior Bowl.
(sidenote: the first 5,000 fans in the stadium on Feb 3rd get bobblehead dolls — yes, we’re pumped)
And then after the game, you won’t have to wait way way way way too long before the Counting Crows start (the band, not birds doing math).
We’re even giving away some tickets — winners announced Tuesday evening!
Need to learn a bit more about what the heck the Senior Bowl is? Read that here.
We also got the chance to chat with Jim Nagy (the executive director) all things Senior Bowl — watch it below or click here.

🪅Do Some Good
We all love a good boom boom but Love Your Community reminds us the mess left behind can end up in our waterways, ditches, gutters and trees. Please think twice before you leave your Mardi Gras mess on the ground. The City of Mobile has a pretty great clean-up crew, but it doesn’t get everything left behind.

🐶This Baby Needs a Mommy….😺
From Krewe de Rescue:
“Nine puppies were rescued by duck hunters yesterday. They were found abandoned at a landing near the boat launch. These babies are only six weeks old and need to see a vet ASAP. Some have skin issues, possibly a fungus of some type. Please complete our application below if you would like to foster a puppy or two. These sweet babies deserve a chance.”
