Being active in our community brings a special kind of feeling. Luckily, the city presents many opportunities for us to have our voices heard.

Take the ongoing Mobile County Commission poll about homelessness as an example. You now have the chance to give your opinion on where its budget should be allocated.

Sadly, many are still vulnerable when it comes to their housing situations. It’s nice to know that our government is doing something about it.

Speaking of the government, there’s a certain recently-passed law that has Mobilians talking. It’s a little controversial, and you’ll want to check out the full article for the deets.

On a lighter note, there have been some quirky happenings as of late.

There’s a bunch of bearded dudes who can’t get over Christmas and a hot rumor against a humble appliance.

There’s always so much going on these days, especially with Mardi Gras now in full swing.
