Sorry for the delay in sending, we got caught up with water aerobics and iguanas (I'm serious — will send proof next week...) Plus, we're running a 3G hotspot here!

For Christians, we just had our Super Bowl (Easter Sunday).I saw cool things written about the day, including...

"Grateful for the most beautiful story I know…of love beating death…making a way from the darkness of the grave to the light of life forever."

and

"Jesus is out here breaking ankles so you can score points." (another one for our sports fans).

It's all about the Good News of love and life winning over death and destruction.

Pretty great stuff.

For my Jewish friends, Passover is also in full swing.

And to round it out, our Muslim brethren are in the midst of Ramadan - a month of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community.

What a time for the religious community!

🌞 A Bit of News 

Can you imagine not having internet access? We shudder. This is a problem for many households and businesses in Mobile County. 

And while the rest of us are trying to limit our screen time and disconnect, we can’t forget that there are those who want to do the opposite.

Things are looking up!

Find out how much Governor Kay Ivey granted some local broadband providers to address this issue. 

Speaking of disconnecting, it looks like we have a couple of major upcoming opportunities to do so!

First, there’s the legendary Hangout Fest, which has a pretty impressive lineup this year. It also has a couple of new perks for VIPs, a.k.a. those who can’t slum it anymore. 

There’s also the Dauphin Island Race, which could be motivation enough to take a day off and watch modern-day sailors scramble to the finish line. 

Sailboat racing is no joke, and things can actually get pretty intense!

🍕 2023 Eating Project...

Our goal is to eat at 26 new restaurants during the year of 2023.

But there's a catch --- it has to be restaurants we've never visited, and we're going from letters A-Z (hopefully in order).
