It’s Tiki Week in Mobile!

The annual celebration of all things tropical is back again this year from August 22- August 27. 15 local businesses are participating this year. Many of your favorites places downtown are taking part in Tiki Week 2022. Here’s an itinerary for your week.

Monday: Start your week with a tiki beer release from Braided River or Mahalo Movie Night at the Merry Widow.

Tuesday : It’s Tiki Taco Tuesday Trivia at Nova Espresso or “Spam: A Retrospective” at Alabama Music Box.

Wednesday: It’s the Rum Crawl! Enjoy a crawl of ALL participating locations like POST, Squid Ink, Rooster’s, O Daly’s and many more while you sip on tropical themed drinks!

Thursday: It’s Tiki Bingo at the Merry Widow and Tiki Karaoke at The Ice Box.

Friday: Take a Secret History Tour learning all about the tiki history, local pirate tales, and the Mobile Whiskey War of 1923.

Saturday: Tiki Week’s Final Luau will commence inside the unofficial center of all things Tiki Week, and that’s inside the transformed tiki bar at the Haberdasher.

Dust off your lei and head downtown for the city-wide festival of all things tropical this week only!

❤ A Do Some Good Highlight

The Mobile Ballet is the region’s foremost classical ballet school and company.

The Mobile Ballet provides three major shows annually for the audience to enjoy.

Mobile Ballet trainees and the company, selected through an audition process, participate in these shows, which also feature special guests from all around the world.

More than 300 students receive the services from the Mobile Ballet School, which has locations in Mobile and Daphne.

Mobile Ballet began in 1987 to promote ballet to represent the human spirit by providing high-quality dance instruction and presenting high-quality performances.

Nonprofit Mobile Ballet has had a profound effect on the cultural and economic environment of Mobile and the surrounding region since its inception.

They cater ages 3 to an adult every year.
