Can You Help? $2,500 Goal for Make-A-Wish Foundation

We’re going on a 26.3-mile hike (in one day!) 🥾🌄🥾 to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation — our goal is to help grant wishes for children with critical illnesses (unfortunately, about half don’t get granted).

Our goal is to make this a “Team Mobile Rundown” thing, and we want you to play a role!!

These donors are helping make it happen!

Stephanie G / David C / Mike Ward’s Liberty Safes / Clarence M / Marjie W

We’d love to add you to the list.

It’s The Nappies

Our friends over at Lagniappe are at it again!

Maybe vote for us while you’re there 😏

We probably fit best under media —- “favorite local website/blog”

Thanks!

🪅Do Some Good

From Sandy Hasty, JMH Let’s Get It 5k Event Coordinator:

“My son, Justin Hasty, was killed in October 2012 and had previously served in the United States Marine Corps. Justin was an avid runner and was very passionate about the Wounded Warrior Project. In 2014 we started this event to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project to honor the memory of Justin and also help some very deserving servicemen and women. Over the past 10 years, we have raised an amazing $161,616.00!

$148,880.00 being donated to the Wounded Warrior Project and in 2016 we chose to include The Semper Fi Fund/America’s Fund to our mission and have donated 10% of our profits the past 7 years - for a total of $12,036.00. We have participants from Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Louisiana, North Carolina and as far away as Michigan, who faithfully participate each year and promise to return to support this very worthy cause and enjoy this truly awesome and uplifting event. We also have active and former servicemen and women from all branches of the military who faithfully participate each year.”

🐶This Baby Needs a Mommy….😺

Murphy - Wags and Whiskers

“Meet Tenny aka Murphy! This boy was originally adopted as a small puppy but sadly there was a death in the family and now he is needing a new home. Murphy is a gorgeous blue Merle Catahoula mix. He’s 7 months and 30 lbs. He’s a playful and happy puppy. Great with other animals and kids. He’s doing well with training for his age but of course, is still young and will need additional training and attention. He’s very eager to please and doesn’t mind his crate. He loves the water and being outdoors. Murphy is utd, neutered and ready for his forever home.

Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well-trained animals.”

To make Murphy your new best furfriend, apply here.
