Are you ready for some football?? Professional football is coming to Mobile this summer with the Alabama Airborne playing in a brand new spring football league, Major League Football.
Mobile is one of the first four pilot teams to be announced for the MLF. Teams have also been announced in Little Rock, Arkansas, Canton, Ohio, and Virginia Beach, Virginia. The “core four” teams will play this August before an 18 team league will begin this spring.
The Alabama Airborne will play their home games at Ladd Peebles Stadium. The first home game is August 9th vs. the Ohio Force. Tickets are on sale for as little as $10. The Airborne are coached by long time NFL head coach and assistant, Jerry Glanville. Rosters should be announced soon with training camp starting in Mobile next week! Come out to watch the new league this summer before they launch in the spring of 2023 to see if any of the Airborne can make their way from the MLF to the NFL!

📰 News: How Many Bankhead Hits Does It Take...
Ok, so just when we think we're going to get a little break from trucks hitting the Bankhead Tunnel, we get...
I mean, that bad boy got peeled. And it got us thinking, "how many trucks does this happen to in a year?"And, "Should we keep a record of this and post it somewhere?"
Well, great minds think alike, because Amelia Bullock beat us to it.Heck, she even launched a petition to make this tally artwork official!
Here's her take on what we should post on the tunnel.

But we had some others we liked as well...Terry is suggesting this bit of tunnel art.
And Anthony thinks a message like this might be a good move...
