🌍Moving? We Can Help!
It’s hard not to notice the superb quality of cookery that goes on Mobile. And all that starts with where we source our ingredients.
One establishment, The Hummingbird Way, just earned the title of Smart Catch Leader from the prestigious James Beard Foundation. It’s safe to say that they deserve it.
If you haven’t sampled their delectable offerings, it’s high time that you finally found out what makes their renowned oyster bar so special.
On a more serious note, the government is finally addressing the lack of affordable housing around the area.
Public and private entities will work together on this $29 million Maryvale Place apartment building, which is set to accommodate families in 2024.
Speaking of families, you could take yours to a new public park. Mobile County has reopened Escatawpa Hollow after a year of renovations, and things are looking beautiful.
Many more upgrades are still in the works, but it’s nice to check out what they’ve done to the place so far.
Lastly, Downtown’s iconic establishment, B-Bob’s, just turned 30! As an LGBTQ-friendly bar, it serves as a trailblazer in the state and shows that we accept people of all orientations.

Flourish is a non-profit organization in Mobile and Baldwin Counties, Alabama, that works with young women who are at risk.
By giving teenagers the tools they need for success, they are helping them realize their full potential.
Free community centers are available for young girls in Daphne to visit each week for educational and personal development programs.
Every month, at least 20 young women from Mobile and Baldwin Counties connect with female mentors in the area to help guide them on their path to success.
There are available workshops on personal growth, creativity, and volunteer work in their community center each week.

For almost a year, we signed off our emails with a picture (scroll to the bottom) that, for us, represents iconic Mobile. We realized that only a small % of our readers know about 'Mercedes Marge'.First of all, she's locally famous. And so is (unfortunately, was) her dog Coco.I'd like you to go and read this article to learn about her.
We were sad to recently find out from one of her very good friends that Ms. Margie's dog Coco has passed away. This dog was her best companion, as you'll learn.
If you'd like to send a card to Ms. Margie, she'd love to hear from you.You may send them here, and they'll be delivered to her.2605 Springhill AveMobile, Al 36607
Our condolences go out to you, Ms. Margery.
