A New Queen: Brianna Burrell emerged as Miss Alabama 2023, representing Baldwin County. With her impressive talents, she now holds the prestigious title and will champion various initiatives throughout her reign.

Tight Timelines: Officials are rushing against time to complete necessary rewards and ensure the field is ready for the much-awaited Gulf Coast Challenge in Mobile this fall. Chop chop!

Creek Restoration: Mobile embarks on a creek revitalization project, enhancing water flow and recreation opportunities while preserving its natural beauty. This dredging effort aims to benefit both residents and the environment.

Saltwater Spectacle: The 90th ADSFR Rodeo anticipates a massive turnout as anglers prepare for an intense fishing competition. Folks will be vying for lucrative prizes in various categories. This event is also a platform for some serious scientific research.

We're aiming to eat at 26 new restaurants during the year of 2023.

But there's a catch --- it has to be restaurants we've never visited, and we're going from letters A-Z (hopefully in order).

RUNNING TO RESCUE 👟

July 30th is World Day Against Human Trafficking. Human Trafficking is the fastest-growing criminal enterprise in the WORLD. How? You can sell a bag of drugs once, but sell a child 5 to 8 times a day.

To recognize that this is an issue our state and community faces, Stopping Traffic and Run Your Story wanted to create an event that helps raise funds for a survivor scholarship. For every $5 that is donated, we pledge to run/walk a mile. The morning of the 30th come out, runner or not, as a way to raise awareness and pray for the victims and survivors that face this horrific crime. Kick-off at 7:30am with praise and worship with the run/walk following around 8am.

Together, we can make a difference. We can be the change. We can Run to Rescue.

🐶This Baby Needs a Mommy (or a Daddy) 😺

Spot has been waiting patiently for a home of his own. He and his siblings were found abandoned along with their mom in a rural area. He is now 3-4 months old and is a typical, playful puppy. He would love a little boy or girl of his own or even a canine sibling. We believe that he may be a lab/catahoula mix. Our adoption fee is $175 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, neuter and a microchip. Please complete this application if you are interested in adopting Spot.
