šMoving? We Can Help!
Do you have the next Mark Cuban living under your roof? Make sure your little one submits a video to our BizKidz Competition by October 1st!
For adults, while you canāt submit to BizKidz, you can still get involved in the community. Join a local Chamber of Commerce and attend their monthly luncheonās or networking events. The Innovation Portal is hosting monthly Coffee Chats at their location on St. Louis Street. This week, the panel will speak on āThe Customer Journeyā. Itās always a great event to attend.
Thereās always room to get involved in the community by giving back and the United Way Emerging Leaders program does just that. The Emerging Leaders is for 40 and under, they help volunteer at local partner agencies throughout the year but also have fun social events like the one this Tuesday night at Braided River Brewing.
Thereās also ways you can grow your personal brand or business around town, even if youāre not the next Mark Cuban.
Less than 30 days to submit a business idea and win up to $500!
Know a kid (elementary to college age) that wants to win cash? (up to $500...)If so, they should pitch us an idea for BizKidz! It's simple:1. Create a business pitch.2. Record it in a 90-second video.3. Submit it.

They help ignite ideas, raise money and put them into projects.
A joint effort between Fuse Project and The Historic Avenue Foundation aims to improve childrenās health, fitness, and education.
Fuse Project raised more than $2 million for 49 high-impact community initiatives since its beginning in 2012.
When it launched the Order of Fuse in 2015, diverse young professionals gathered to give back to their communities.
